Why does the receipt sometimes take a long time to generate? (Especially on the Web version)

In some cases, especially when using the Web version of Jarbas, generating a receipt can take longer than expected. This usually happens because, depending on your receipt settings, the system needs to load all product images before building the final document.

If your orders include many products or if the product photos are large/heavy, the system takes more time to process everything. This delay can be even more noticeable on slower internet connections or on computers with lower performance.

The good news is that there's a simple way to make receipt generation much faster.

How to fix the issue and speed up receipt generation

  1. On the home screen, tap Settings.
  2. Tap My Receipt.
  3. Turn off the option Show product images on order receipt.



When this option is disabled, receipts are generated without product photos, which significantly reduces processing time, both in the app and on the Web version.

When should you keep this option turned off?

  • When your orders have many items
  • When your product images are large or high-resolution
  • If your internet connection is slow
  • If you want receipts to generate as quickly as possible
