How to send a customer's account statement

How to send a customer's account statement

The statement shows everything a customer bought and paid over a period, with the running balance movement by movement. It's the document to send when a customer asks for their account.

How to open it

  1. Go to Customers and open the customer.
  2. Tap the Account tab.
  3. Tap Account Statement.

How to read it

The table has four columns: Date, Transaction, Value and Balance — the balance is cumulative, so you can follow how the debt grew or shrank with each movement.

The totals come at the end:

  • Previous Balance — what they already owed before the period.
  • Total In and Total Out — what moved during the period.
  • Final Balance — where the account ended up.

Cancelled movements stay in the list, marked (Canceled), so the history has no gaps.

Choosing the period

Tap the filter icon at the top to set the period and choose whether to see only In, only Out, or everything.

If you get "No movements found for the applied filters", the period is simply empty — widen the dates.

How to send it

On the bottom bar:

  • Share — produces an image of the statement, ideal for WhatsApp.
  • PDF — produces the full document, with the customer's details (phone, email, document number) and the period in the header. The format for when a customer wants something formal.

The PDF requires an active plan. Sharing the image works on any plan.

Tip

If a customer asks for their balance every week, it's worth switching on their Digital Account: instead of you generating a statement each time, they check it themselves on their phone.
