How to Make a Sale on Credit with Jarbas? - Part 2
After setting up the Jarbas app to allow credit sales
and selecting the customers who can take advantage of this mode, it's time to
learn how to effectively make a sale on credit. This article continues our
step-by-step guide.
Step 3: Making a Sale on Credit
Let's continue the sale for Patricia, our customer set
up in the first article:
In
Patricia’s profile, initiate a 'Quick Sale'.
Once
you’ve selected the products, tap on ‘Sell on Credit’. At this point, you
do not need to modify the amount unless you wish to split the payment
between credit and another payment method.
Step 4: Adding the Payment
On the payment screen:
You
will find two options: ‘Add Payment’ and ‘Finish Order’. Select ‘Add
Payment’ to record the order as paid on credit or ‘Finalize Order’ to mark
the order as finished.
Upon confirmation, Patricia’s account will show a
negative balance, reflecting that she now owes the purchase amount.
Step 5: Reviewing the Order and Customer Account
To
review the order, tap on ‘Show Order’, then on ‘Details’.
To
check Patricia’s account, return to her profile and tap on ‘Account’ to
see the current balance.
Step 6: Managing Credit Accounts
To manage all credit accounts:
Return
to the Jarbas home screen.
Go to ‘Customers’ and
use the filter to show only ‘Negative Balance’.
This way, you can easily
identify and manage the customers who are in debt to your store.
