How to Make a Sale on Credit? – Part 1

Step 1: Enabling Credit Sales

Before you can start selling on credit, you need to enable this feature in your system. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Go to the ‘Configurations’ menu in your Jarbas app.

  2. Tap on ‘General’.

  3. Enable the ‘Allow Credit’ option.

This process is quick and easy, and you only need to do it once.

Step 2: Setting Up a Customer for Credit Sales

Once you’ve enabled the general function, it’s time to decide which customers will have access to this type of sale. Here’s how to set it up:

  1. From the main menu, go to ‘Customers’.

  2. Select the customer you want to enable for credit sales. For this example, we’ll use Patricia.

  3. On the customer’s screen, enable the ‘Allow on Credit’ option.

That’s it! Patricia can now make purchases on credit at your store. In her profile, you’ll see that the initial balance is zero, indicating that no credit purchases have been recorded yet.
