How to erase only products, only customers or only orders

Done testing and want to start clean? You can erase everything — or just the part that's in the way.

Where it lives

Configurations › General › Erase Data (the red text at the end of the list).

"Need to start over? Choose what you want to erase, or erase everything at once."

The options

Tick one, some or all:

Orders — erases orders, credit instalments and collection routes. Your order statuses, delivery methods and sales fees stay configured.

Products — erases products, product categories and the photos you uploaded.

Stock — zeroes the balance of every product and variant, erases lots and the movement history. Products stay registered, they just end up at zero stock.

Customers — erases customers, customer categories and their photos.

Transactions — erases financial entries and financial categories.

Erase all data — ticks all five at once. And if you tick all five by hand, it turns itself on.

This one goes a little beyond the sum of the five: it also erases calendar events and your sales customisations — order statuses, delivery methods and sales fees. It's the blank-account option.

How to do it

  1. Tick what you want to erase.
  2. Tap Erase.
  3. Confirm on the prompt — "Are you sure you want to erase selected categories?"
  4. Wait for the progress bar.

At the end you get the green screen: "Your data has been successfully deleted."

There's no undo

No button brings it back. Before erasing anything on an account that's already running, export what matters from Configurations › Reports.

What is not erased

These stay intact: account settings, users, suppliers and purchases, the online catalogue and its settings, payment methods, printers and your subscription.

Combinations that make sense

I tested the app and want to start for real — tick Erase all data.

My stock is a mess and I want to recount — tick Stock only. You keep the product records and start counting from zero.

I imported the wrong product list — tick Products only. Careful: if you already have orders, they'll point at products that no longer exist.

I want to clear test orders — tick Orders only. All your sales configuration stays standing; only the history goes.
