When you remove an item from an order, is the payment refunded automatically?

No. In Jarbas, when you remove an item from an order, the payment is not automatically returned to the Financial section.

When this happens, the order total becomes lower than the amount that was paid, and Jarbas automatically enables the refund option for that order.

To process the refund:

  1. Open the order.
  2. Tap the Details tab.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the screen.
  4. Tap Refund.

When processing the refund, you can choose between two options:

Manual refund:
Jarbas records a new transaction in the Financial section to adjust the payment values.

Credit:
the amount is added as credit to the customer’s account, which can be used for future purchases.

Note:
When you cancel an order or remove an item from an order, the product automatically returns to inventory.
