Custom Pages in the Online Catalog

Custom Pages in the Online Catalog

A Custom Page is a feature of the Jarbas online catalog that lets you create free-form content pages within your catalog. Unlike product pages or the catalog home page, it has no fixed structure — you decide what to write, how to format it, and what to display.

Each page gets its own link (e.g., yourbusiness.jarbas.app/page/page-name) that you can share anywhere.

What is it for?

Use Custom Pages to add information that complements your catalog but doesn't fit within products. Some practical examples:

Shipping policy: explain your delivery timeframes, covered areas, and shipping methods.
Accepted payment methods: detail bank transfer, cash, card, installments, etc.
FAQ (frequently asked questions): answer the most common questions your customers have.
About the business: tell your company's story, introduce your team, or highlight what sets you apart.
Terms and conditions: inform customers about your exchange, return, or warranty policies.
Promotions and campaigns: create a temporary page with the details of a special offer.

How to create a Custom Page

Step 1 — Access the catalog settings
In the Jarbas main menu, go to Account → Settings → Catalog → Catalog display.

Step 2 — Open the Custom Pages section
On the display settings screen, locate the Custom Pages item and tap it.

Step 3 — Add a new page
Tap the Add page button (+ icon in the top right corner).

Step 4 — Fill in the page details
On the creation screen, fill in the fields:

Title: The page name that customers will see. Example: Shipping Policy
Page link: Automatically generated from the title. You can copy it by tapping the icon next to it.
Content: The page text, with support for formatting (bold, lists, links, etc.).
Active: Sets whether the page is visible or hidden in the catalog.
Tip: The link (slug) is created automatically as you type the title. If a page with the same name already exists, a number is added automatically to avoid conflicts (e.g., shipping-policy-2).

Step 5 — Save the page
Tap Save. The page will immediately be available in your online catalog.
On the page editing screen, the link appears just below the title field. Tap the copy icon next to the link to copy the full address. You can then send it via WhatsApp, Instagram, email, or wherever you prefer.

How to temporarily hide a page

If you want to take a page offline without deleting it — for example, a finished promotion — simply toggle off the Active option on the page editing screen and save. The page remains saved but becomes invisible to customers.
