At the top of the Stock screen sits the Alerts panel, with everything that needs your attention. Tap it to expand and see how many products are in each situation.
Every alert is a shortcut: tap it and Jarbas filters the list to show exactly those products.
The balance hit zero or went negative. These are sales you may be losing right now.
The balance has dropped to the minimum stock you set on the product. It's the nudge to restock before you run out.
If a product never shows up here, its minimum stock is probably set to zero.
The cost price is equal to or above the sale price: you're selling at a loss, or for no profit at all.
It usually happens when a supplier raises their price and the sale price isn't updated.
If the product is on promotion, Jarbas compares against the promotional price — what the customer actually pays.
Tapping this alert also brings up products with no cost price recorded, which are left out of your profit figures.
There's a lot with its date approaching. The warning window is what you set in Lot expiring days — 7 days by default.
Time to run a promotion before you lose the goods.
There's a lot with a balance whose date has already passed. It needs writing off.
Expiring and Expired only appear on products with lot control.
The panel only shows an alert while at least one product is in that situation. An alert that's gone is a problem solved.
