How to View Financial Transactions by Payment Method

How to View Financial Transactions by Payment Method

In Jarbas, you can filter your financial transactions by payment method — such as cash, Pix, credit card, debit card, bank transfer, and more. This helps you understand how your customers are paying and makes it easier to track your cash flow.

Below is a step-by-step guide on how to view transactions by payment method.

1. Open the finance section

On the home screen, tap Financial.

2. Open the filters

Inside the finance section, tap the filter icon (it looks like a small funnel and appears in the upper-right corner).

3. Select “Payment Method”

You’ll see several filter options. Look for Payment Method and tap on it.

4. Choose the payment method you want to view

Select the method you want to filter, such as Pix, Cash, Credit Card, Debit Card, or others.

5. Done! View the filtered transactions

After selecting the payment method, Jarbas will show all transactions made using that payment type.

Important: Check the other filters too!

If your transactions aren’t appearing, it might be because another filter is limiting the results. Make sure all filters match what you’re trying to see.

Here are the filters you should double-check:

1. Date Range

If the selected period is too short (e.g., “Today”), older transactions won’t show up.

Example:

You select “Credit Card” but set the date filter to “Last 7 days.” If the credit card transaction happened 10 days ago, it won’t appear.

2. Transaction Type

Confirm you're viewing the correct type:

  • Revenue
  • Expense
  • Order

If “Order” is selected but you want to see “Expense,” no results will appear.

3. Sorting Order

You can filter by:

  • Due Date
  • Created Date
  • Payment Date

If you're expecting a different order, this may cause confusion.

4. Status

Check if the selected status matches what you want to view:

  • Paid
  • Partially Paid
  • Pending
  • Due Today
  • Overdue

Selecting only “Paid,” for example, will hide all pending transactions.

5. Categories

If a category is selected, only transactions within that category will appear.

6. User and Payment User

You can filter by:

  • The user who created the transaction
  • The user who recorded the payment

If either filter is active, it will limit what you see.

If your transactions still don’t appear after adjusting the filters, please contact our support team via WhatsApp, we’ll be happy to help!
