Does Jarbas have a commission system for salespeople?

Does Jarbas have a commission system for salespeople?

Currently, Jarbas does not have an automatic commission system. This means the app doesn’t calculate or pay commissions automatically based on users’ sales.

However, Jarbas provides several tools that let you track salesperson performance and manage commissions manually.

Tools available for managing sales performance

1. User/Salesperson ranking

Jarbas includes a ranking feature that helps you track each seller’s performance.
With it, you can view:

  • The number of orders placed by each user;
  • The total sales amount per seller;
  • The analysis period, which can be customized as needed.

You can find this feature under:
Stats → Users Ranking

This tool is ideal for identifying top-performing salespeople and monitoring your team’s results.

2. Tracking sales by user

The system automatically records:

  • Who created each order;
  • The complete sales history for every salesperson;
  • Data for reports and performance analysis.

To check the sales made by a specific user, go to:
Users → [User Name] → Orders

This view lets you see every order placed by that salesperson, making it easier to calculate commissions manually.

3. Tracking payments by user

In addition to sales, Jarbas also lets you see who received or processed each payment.
You can find this information under:
Financial → [Filters] → filter by User or User Payment

From there, you can check:

  • Who received the payment;
  • Who processed the transaction;
  • The financial history by user.

These details help verify each salesperson’s activity and maintain an accurate payment record.

How to manage commissions manually

Since Jarbas doesn’t calculate commissions automatically, you can set up a manual process to track and pay them. Here are a few ways to do it:

1. Manual calculation

  • Go to the User Ranking to see each salesperson’s total sales;
  • Apply the defined commission percentage (for example, 5%, 10%, etc.);
  • Record the commission payment as a transaction in the Financial module.

2. Using the Finance module

  • Create a dedicated expense category called “Sales Commissions”;
  • Log each commission payment as an expense;
  • Use filters by user to track payments per salesperson.

3. Custom reports

  • Export data from the User Ranking;
  • Use the information in an external spreadsheet to calculate and track commissions;
  • Maintain a weekly or monthly manual record of commission payments.

Management tip

Even without an automatic commission system, Jarbas provides everything you need to:

  • Track salesperson performance;
  • Manually calculate and record commissions;
  • Organize payments through the Finance module;
  • Generate detailed sales reports per user.

To keep things running smoothly, establish a regular review schedule—weekly or monthly—and use the system’s reports to ensure your commission calculations and payments remain accurate and consistent.
