How it works
The import
process is manual and requires preparing your data beforehand. You’ll
need to organize your information in an Excel or CSV file following the
expected structure used by Jarbas.
The system
lets you map your file’s columns to the correct fields inside Jarbas,
making the process easier even when your column names are different.
For products,
you can import details such as:
• name, category, code, sale and cost prices, current stock, description,
whether it’s a service, service duration, stock control, and minimum stock.
Jarbas automatically checks for duplicates and validates required fields.
For customers,
you can import data like:
• name, phone number, full address, email, documents, notes, and whether the
customer has store credit.
The system supports up to 2,000 items per import and runs validations to keep
your data accurate and consistent.
Important limitations
No
automatic migration
• Manual import process only
• No direct integration with other systems
• Data preparation required before importing
Summary
Jarbas
doesn’t include an automatic migration tool, but you can manually import
customers and products using Excel or CSV files. The system includes field
mapping and validation to help make the process quick and accurate.
